Warren County, N.J. (AHN) - Police say that they have uncovered a teenager's plot to open fire at his high school and kill his fellow students and teachers.

According to reports, the initial information regarding the alleged plan was given to the Belvidere High School officials by students who had become suspicious and scared of the student's possible killing spree.

Belvidere Police Chief Kent Sweigert said that the student, a 17-year old, was planning to be deployed in Iraq.

"I love combat and I love to kill," were the student's words, according to Sweigert.

CNN reported that by the time police had taken the student to custody, he had started to study the school's physical layout, analyzing security and planning his route of escape.

The student's behavioral patterns have recently shown significant changes, according to school psychiatrists, as he reportedly abandoned former plans of applying for a community college.

His outfit had also showed changes, as he started to wear clothes with military-style fatigue design, and wear his hair with a short cut. Also, he had begun to carry around literature about the military.

He had also started to spend his weekends visiting a National Guardsman, 22-year old James Schipps, who was in custody at the Warren County Prison for "making terrorist threats," and "hindering apprehension," according to New Jersey State Police Lt. Gerald Lewis.

According to the Morning Call, the student is currently undergoing psychiatric treatment, hindering police from speaking with him.

Authorities are still attempting to figure out Schipps' actual role in the student's plan.
