Internet Options

Hey folks,

New to the area, and I noticed that it is a little lean when it comes to Internet ISPs. Do any of you have any recommendations? We have Embarq, but the max speed they offer do not help us. Thanks.

I think Service Electric provides Cable out there, but I have no idea how the service would be.

I just bought the new wireless card from Verizon and it works like a dream. My wife also bought one. We live in Blairstown up near yards creek where we could only get dial up or ISDN. The cards seem to do the trick for speed and so far reliability.

We paid $100 for each card but you get a $50 rebate. The service is $59.99 monthly plus the rip off taxes and service charges we pay for telephone service.

They give you money back 30 day free try out on the cards. It's cool to drive around with the lap top and have it work in the car anytime anywhere.

And, I don't work for Verizon.
