Contents of Car Stolen

Last night 6/19 sometime after 9:00pm my son's car was robbed. Only the items inside the car were stolen.
I'm in the process of reporting the incident to the Police dept. I live on Jones Road, to my neighbors and town residents, please taken special precaution.
I will keep you informed during the investigation.

This happened to us last year - and it happened just recently at St. Jude's during Sunday Mass!! It seems to happen quite frequently so people should be aware and not leave anything of value in their cars

Wow Doug that is pretty assumtive of you "some local kids" for your info alot of the "break-ins" and robberys around here are from out of Town. I remember when one whole street was hit. Alot of people said 'local kids', a week later they caught the guy, he was from Newton and in his 30's. So dont assume, you know what happens right Felix.

I shop and do business often within the area of Newton to Stroudsburg. I consider the locations of Newton to Stroudsburg to be local. I do not consider local kids to be only my immediate neighbor. Just as residents of Blairstown read the local newspapers such as the Sussex Herald to the Easton Express Times. I guess local is a relative term because there are those who don't leave the confines of Blairstown that often.

Lets hope the police solve the problem soon.

No further details with regards to stolen property. No feedback from PD, in fact I haven't seen a patrol car in a week except by the traffic light in town.

I agree with Fedup, local kids?? For instance my kids a 20 yr old girl and son 23, were recently implicated for attempting to break into some one's house. I am so sorry I ever brought this up. Maybe even my son stole my daughters cds, and my daughter stole my son's stuff, ya think!!

I read in the NJ Herald that a Newton man was arrested for several robberies the other day. The arrest came after a week of investigation. Maybe this was our thief.
