"GMOs You Ought to Know." Atalk about the science behind and application of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) in our food system. Without bias and aimed at the everyday consumer, the speaker will try to help make sense of the dizzying debate concerning the use of GMOs in the food industry, medicine, pharmaceuticals and scientific research. The goal is to empower consumers to make informed decisions concerning these products.
